" I LOVE IT SO MUCH. finally got my nails done here and it was great. so many cool polish options. love love love it! and the coffee... they grind the beans up for you and serve it to you personally. no k-cups here. it's SO GOOD.
if i had the money i'd be here at least once a week but every six weeks keeps it more special i guess =)

" - tell me all the great places in my new city? mi cumbia is such a gem! It's decorated in a really unique fashion, there's so much to look at when you come inside, really cool. The staff are friendly. They use organic and less chemical products, so it doesn't smell at all like a salon; it smells amazing and lemon-y and herbal. I was there for waxing services and found it to be gentle on my skin and reasonably priced. I'm only sorry I didn't book a manicure too, but I'll get one next time =)

" I wanted to try the wax before my big day. I wanted to make sure I would not have any reactions. Karina was great... I was really nervous. Karina gave me a consultation prior to starting the service. She let me know exactly what would happen. She told me about the product, breathing technique, positions and helpful tips for after treatment. It actually was not as bad as I thought. I even set another appointment before the birth.

" - nail salon in Philadelphia. It stands out as way better than the rest. First, everyone there is so friendly, professional, and nice. They are interested in providing you with the best experience--not trying to get you in and out the door like other salons.
When I first walked in someone immediately came to my assistance and actually talked to me about nail colors and my choices. She helped me picked out a color that would look great on me and go well with the season. She also offered me coffee, tea, or water.
I started out with a 1/2 hr foot massage and pedicure. My nail person assessed my nails carefully, talked to me about ingrown nails, and was truly interested in nail care. She used coconut oil, coconut, and mango butter for the foot massage--it was great!
I also had a manicure. Best manicure ever. I feel so relaxed and am very happy with the way my nails look.
The owner even came over and talked to me to make sure I was getting a good experience.
While you are there, don't forget to get the coffee--it's delicious.

" - a year now and have only had a great experience every time. Everyone in this beautiful, wonderful-smelling space makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. Sahar and the other girls who have worked the front desk are some of the warmest people I've come across!
Karina does my brows with such precision and attention to detail, and puts the effort into creating a peaceful space for her clients. I also love the set up of only two pedicure stations in the back of the salon, making the pedicures even more relaxing than they already are. There is a foot massage service that can be added to a pedicure or done alone, which I really enjoy when I have the extra money to splurge.
The salon has an amazing selection of colors which is always perfectly organized, and some available for purchase. They also sell Columbian coffee, chocolate, and hand-crafted jewelry.
Mi Cumbia is definitely much pricier than the average salon, but the experience makes the extra amount worth it. Treat yourself and enjoy one of the most comfortable and friendly spots in the city! " Linda Z.

I took a leap of faith and booked an appointment with Karina, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made.
The atmosphere is calm, the staff is exceptionally welcoming, and the service is amazing. I am usually greeted by name when I walk in, offered something to drink, then in and out within 20 minutes.
I refuse to go to anyone else at this stage, and have recommended Karina and Mi Cumbia to a few friends, most of whom are equally devoted now.
