" - the Best of Philly a few times. It is- without a doubt- the BEST salon in Philadelphia. I have never been so ecstatic with the service or product at a nail salon before. The staff, space, sanitation and product are all absolutely impeccable.

From the moment you call for an appointment until the moment you walk through the door, you are treated like family. I always leave feeling respected and informed. And seriously- do NOT skip the coffee. It may be the best I've ever had. 

The products are top notch- all natural and organic, and the women always explain how to care for yourself post-appointment. The Brazilian wax is the most painless and economical that I've ever received. Carina is truly, as the receptionist called her, the "wax whisperer"- she is so sweet and truly talented.

Karina, Mimi, Blanca, Gabriella, Justin, Zahar and the rest of the lovely woman in Mi Cumbia have become like family!!! Karina, the owner is the best!!! Her hands are magical! I have extra super sensitive skin and have had terrifying experiences in the past from other places. My face has been burnt from waxing and I have had major break outs from regular waxes. But the wax used in Mi Cumbia has saved my life! Honesty, I have been searching for an Oasis for many years and can not tell you how happy and blessed I feel to have found it! It's amazing how welcomed every single woman and Justin (Karina's wonderful hubby / owner) makes me feel during every visit!! I wouldn't miss my biweekly appointment for anything. All products sold here are natural and organic. The Lemongrass Sugar scrub is to die for!!!! Im totally obsessed and ALWAYS have a big jar in the shower. After 12 long hours of being an RN, I'm so exhausted, sore, tense, overwhelmed and frustrated. But as soon as I use this healing scrub and work it into my feet all the way up to my face, I feel refreshed and extraordinarily much better! It's absolutely amazing!!! Truly it's like having a spa in your bathroom. And believe it or not it's lemon so men also will love using it. My coworkers husband is so in love with this scrub! Lol!!! I give these scrubs out as gifts and they are ALWAYS a hit!!! The coconut lotion and everyother product sold here are just spectacular! Please come in and enjoy a delicious cup of Columbian coffee while you sit back and melt into your chair as you get the best manicure and pedicure of your life! And remember all their products are so gentle and toxic free, so my daughter just loves coming here too!!! It makes me feel fantastic knowing she is both safe and happy at Mi Cumbia!
